Eight foreigners living in China will be chosen as prospective Beijing Olympic Games torchbearers next week. The eight will be selected from a list of the top 100 candidates for the “Lenovo-organized Olympic Torchbearer Nominee Selection Among Foreigners Living in China.”
Marco Antonio Torres, with 13,342 votes, ranked second among the Top 100 Candidates on the online voting.
I believe Marco Antonio Torres, as a pure blooded Filipino, as a Jaycee, embodies the “Olympic spirit of striving for excellence and contributing to the building of a harmonious society.”
